Mark this date and join us to learn all there is to know about the activities and goals of the five Platforms: Africa, ASEAN+, CESAM (Latin America), China and Russia. Their central ambition is to bring people together to stimulate academic cooperation in their respective regions.

On October 25th, Raam op Rusland will be organizing the fifth annual October Lecture together with debate center Rode Hoed. This year, Galina Timchenko of Russian news website Meduza will be shedding light on the deteriorating state of press freedom in Russia. The lecture will be followed by a debate with the Moscow-based Dutch journalist and publisher Derk Sauer.

The launch of the Russia & Eastern Europe Knowledge Alliance (REKA) will take place on 14 September.
